As a key member of our commercial function, the Senior Contracts Manager will play a critical role in shaping, negotiating, and delivering high quality contracts that support NAAFI’s strategic objectives. This is a high impact position responsible for ensuring that all contractual activity is commercially robust, operationally deliverable, and aligned with the standards and expectations of a trusted global organisation.
Working closely with the Head of Contracts, you will manage a diverse portfolio of agreements, strengthen commercial governance, and ensure that every contract delivers value, compliance, and long‑term sustainability for NAAFI and our stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for managing NAAFI’s contract negotiation and delivery across all areas of NAAFI or as directed by the Head of Contracts.
- Accountable for ensuring that all contracts and business development opportunities align with NAAFI’s strategic objectives.
- Accountable for ensuring that all commercial terms and conditions are optimised between all key stakeholders, include any required compliance clauses, whilst minimising risk of the contract being exploited by either parties.
- Accountable for agreeing the technical content and wording of contracts, ensuring that clear, concise, and unambiguous wording is used and agreed with the client to minimise any conflicts allowing for smooth contract implementation and on-going service delivery.
- Accountable for creating and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Accountable for ensuring that during the delivery of the contract all stakeholders understand and adhere to the agreed contractual terms to avoid any breach resulting in penalties which could affect the profitability and/or reputational image of NAAFI.
- Support the Head of Contracts in managing the performance of the contract management team and its integration into the wider business.
- Responsible for researching external stakeholders, including understanding their ethics, sustainability objectives, supply chain, Corporate Social Responsibility Policies, financial stability, and prior history regarding contractual compliance and project delivery.
- Responsible for managing the performance of the contracts throughout its life cycle against a clear set of performance metrics/KPI’s and managing any underperformance.
- Responsible for the maintenance and security of any contracts and contractual records, to include but not limited to contract amendments, legal changes etc.
- Create and ensure that a CAFM system is integrated into the business to help with KPI Management, reporting and Asset tracking.
- Manage the contractual Profit and Loss Accounts across all contractual areas, ensuring income is accurate and expenditure is per the business cases agreed.

We are seeking a commercially focused Senior Contracts Manager with strong analytical ability, clear communication skills, and the confidence to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You will bring proven expertise in contract management, sound financial understanding, and the ability to operate effectively within complex or regulated environments while maintaining high standards of governance and performance.
- Strong contract management experience within complex or regulated settings.
- Clear understanding of industry insights, regulatory compliance, and emerging trends.
- Experience managing Profit & Loss accounts and interpreting financial performance.
- Working knowledge of CRL and Soft FM environments.
- Ability to collaborate with and communicate confidently across all stakeholder levels.
