At NAAFI, we're looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative (Storeman / Driver) to join our Warehouse team in Fareham.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining warehouse operations, stock management and deliveries. You'll play an important part in ensuring stock is received, stored and distributed efficiently while providing excellent customer service to our customers and stakeholders.
We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable working within a warehouse environment and delivering goods safely, professionally and in line with operational requirements.
Please note: Applications from candidates who do not hold a Category C (HGV/LGV) Licence and Driver CPC Qualification cannot be considered.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries and day-to-day interactions
- Receiving and checking deliveries for quantity and quality
- Investigating and reporting stock discrepancies
- Storing stock safely and following stock rotation procedures
- Picking and preparing orders accurately
- Delivering goods in line with delivery schedules
- Obtaining signatures for all deliveries
- Completing delivery and stock paperwork accurately
- Carrying out stock checks
- Following safe manual handling procedures at all times
- Completing vehicle and machinery safety checks
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards
- Supporting the wider team as and when required
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse, stores or similar operational role
- Good communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Category C (HGV/LGV) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification
Desirable
- Forklift Licence (training can be provided)
- Aisle Master qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
