Summary: As an Obstacles Production Capture Analyst at NAVBLUE you will be responsible for maintaining obstacles records in NAVBLUE’s aeronautical database. You will use a variety of software to capture state published information related to obstacles data.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assess the state publications whether they include obstacle information that needs to be captured.
- Capture state publications that include obstacle information either through direct import into the tool, conversion through a table to be imported or manual capture in the tool.
- Update records in database in accordance with structured NAVBLUE procedures, as well as regulatory and customer requirements.
- Investigate and reply to customer queries via customer support portal.
- Using instruction and overarching guidelines, raise queries with aeronautical publication providers to clarify documents and resolve issues.
- Work is reprioritized by senior members of the team, and the employee must be adaptable to these changing requirements.
- Manage personal workload effectively using organizational and time management skills to achieve scheduled production targets.
- Effectively communicating and collaborating with the team in order to meet the Aero Data departmental goals.
- Double check the work of other analysts for accuracy and adherence to process. Provides constructive feedback on improvement.
Qualified Experience/Skills/Training:
Education:
Required – Educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent.
Preferred – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Geography, GIS or Aeronautics preferred.
Experience:
Required – N/A
Preferred – Experience working in companies in the aviation industry (dispatching, engineering, flight services, logistics) or experience working in GIS or Cartography.
