A NAVBLUE Aeronautical Analyst – Navigation+ is responsible for maintaining safety critical records in Navblue’s aeronautical database which supports a variety of products for pilots and companies in the aviation industry based on the 28-day AIRAC cycle. Record types include aerodromes, runways, waypoints, coordinates, altitudes, airways, and airspace, etc. You will use visual comparison, as well as a variety of software, to compare state-published text and images with database records and update the database as required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support leadership responsibilities within the team and demonstrate company values.
- Contributes data or part of a presentation to the internal team, department, or customer meetings.
- Compare text and images in new aeronautical publications with existing records in the Navblue database.
- Update standard and tailored records in the database in accordance with structured Navblue production processes, as well as aviation regulations and customer requirements.
- Investigate and reply to customer queries, requests/errors/issues via the Customer Support Portal.
- Using instruction and overarching guidelines, raise queries with aeronautical publication providers to clarify documents and resolve issues.
- Reprioritizes work based on changing requirements in an adaptable and flexible way.
- Support Quality improvements by contributing to Root Cause Analysis, Multi-Functional Team meetings, and NCR management.
- Assist and contribute to internal and customer projects through research, estimates, providing feedback on findings, and other duties as required.
- Double-check the work of other analysts for accuracy and adherence to the process. Provides constructive feedback on improvement.
- Provide mentoring to more junior analysts: answering questions and providing feedback and support to further training and development.
- Contribute to continuous improvements of tools and processes (Agile, SAFE).
- Actively support cycle Closedown process.
Required Experience:
- Experience in mentoring
- Experience working in companies in the aviation/corporate industry
- Working knowledge of Aeronautical Information Services (AIS)/NOTAMs publications is required
- Experience in quality check is an asset

- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Demonstrate excellent work ethic and positive attitude towards daily tasks and the company

- Demonstrate ability to identify challenges/blockers to achieving predetermined deadlines and escalate accordingly
Education:
- Degree in aviation related field is an asset
