Off To Work is looking for their next superstar Recruitment and Operations Assistant for our Edinburgh office. We place amazing people in amazing places, and we need help to make that happen! Are you a graduate, looking to get into this exciting industry? Are you a hospitality veteran, looking to share your skills and training? This could be for you.

Working within this close-knit team, you will provide support in every operational aspect of the department. A Recruitment and Operations Assistant ensures that all shifts are fully staffed with an appropriate team and that client expectations are exceeded. You will learn to successfully manage and develop a client base and become a hiring pro! We are constantly looking out for talent, so advert writing, interviewing and onboarding will become second nature for our next Recruitment and Operations Assistant!

You will maintain and develop excellent relationships with the casual team, to profile and match candidates to our client’s requirements. Our Recruitment and Operations Assistant will be very much involved in staff engagement, development, welfare and retention.

Minimum requirements:
  • Passion and experience in events, customer service, hospitality or direct recruitment
  • Excellent communication skills including fluency in spoken English and exceptional written English
  • Confident phone manner and the ability to engage appropriately with applicants, casual staff and clients
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite software, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Drive and determination with attention to detail and an innate ability to focus on a variety of tasks
  • An inspirational leader who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty
  • Scottish Driver’s Licence (essential)

There will be a requirement to work longer hours and weekend work and you’ll be required to be on-call with the operations mobile on a rotating schedule - time in lieu.
