Off to Work are currently searching for a Head Chef to launch an exciting new all-day dining concept in the heart of Greenwich. Built around quality, simplicity and creativity, our offering will take guests from relaxed breakfast and brunch through to a vibrant evening of small plates and wine. This is a brand-new opening with real ambition. We are looking for a Head Chef who wants more than just a job – someone who is eager to shape, influence and grow with the business from day one.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will take full ownership of the kitchen, leading the food offering across all dayparts. From delivering standout brunch dishes to developing a compelling evening small plates menu, you will play a central role in defining the identity of the business. This is a hands-on position where you will set standards, build your team and have genuine input into the direction and development of the concept.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the kitchen operation
  • Develop and deliver a fresh, seasonal menu across breakfast, brunch and evening service
  • Recruit, train and inspire a small, high-performing team
  • Maintain strong control of food costs, labour and kitchen performance
  • Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service
  • Work closely with ownership on menu development and business growth

About You

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef ready to step up
  • Strong background in casual dining, brunch or modern café-style concepts
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal food and simple, well-executed dishes
  • Organised, commercially aware and comfortable managing costs
  • A natural leader who enjoys building teams and culture
