Your Role

  • As Senior Sous Chef, you’ll be a key leader in the kitchen, helping drive performance, standards and creativity.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of 12
  • Work closely with the Head Chef on menus & daily specials
  • Deliver consistently high standards
  • Take ownership of kitchen operations in the Head Chef’s absence
  • Support with stock control, ordering & GP management
  • Plan and execute events, weddings & large bookings
  • Maintain exceptional food safety & hygiene standards
  • Build strong relationships with the Front of House team

What We’re Looking For

  • You’re a confident, hands-on Senior Sous Chef (or strong Sous ready to step up) who thrives in a busy, fresh-food environment.
  • Proven experience in high-quality restaurants or gastro pubs
  • Strong understanding of fresh, seasonal cooking
  • A natural leader and mentor
  • Calm under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Good grasp of GP, cost control & waste management
  • Creative flair and passion for menu development
  • Reliable, organised and detail-driven
  • Own transport required
