We are currently looking for an Admissions Officer to join our busy team in Birmingham where your organisation skills, customer focus and attention to detail will help turn applications into enrolments for students around the world.
Hours of Work: full time
As an Admissions Officer, you will facilitate the admissions function for Navitas Europe, working for Birmingham City University College (BCUIC), and supporting the wider Admissions and Compliance teams. You’ll process international student applications through defined systems and processes, respond to enquiries in line with service level agreements, assess applications accurately against the latest admissions requirements, and keep agents, students and regional teams fully updated. You’ll also support student interviews by ensuring they are carried out, recorded and communicated with care. Alongside your colleagues, you will build sustainable working relationships with regional teams, the College, our University Partner and agents—while consistently driving individual and team targets forward.
Admissions Officer Duties:
- Process international student applications using defined processes and systems
- Respond to applications and enquiries in line with service level agreements
- Assess applications accurately against current admissions requirements
- Keep agents, students and regional teams updated with relevant developments
- Support student interview administration: scheduling, recording and clear communication of outcomes
- Build effective relationships with regional teams, College stakeholders, the University Partner and agents
- Contribute to achieving individual and team targets
Admissions Officer Requirements:
- Experience in a process-driven, customer-focused environment
- Proven ability to organise your own workload and manage a variety of task demands
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A-Levels or equivalent
- Confidence working with detail-heavy information and maintaining accuracy
