Stage Technician – Cruise
Rotation – 6/7 months onboard, 2 months off
Salary – $1899 – $2100 per month onboard

Job Overview:
Supports the Technical Director Entertainment and Stage Production Manager to deliver top-tier entertainment experiences for guests. Duties include assisting with props, set pieces, backstage operations during rehearsals and performances, as well as maintaining equipment and assisting with event setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Show-Related Duties:
- Set up props, set pieces, and equipment before performances.
- Operate backstage during shows, assist performers, and operate spotlight if needed.
- Clean and maintain equipment after performances.
- Event Support:
- Set up and break down props/equipment for special events and activities.
- Assist with luggage and props for entertainers.
- Maintenance & Inventory:
- Maintain and repair props and equipment.
- Ensure secure storage of set pieces and inventory updates.
- Perform minor carpentry and painting as needed.
- Administrative:
- Attend meetings and update backstage track sheets.
- Follow company policies and ensure cleanliness of working areas.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience with stage equipment.
- High school diploma (or equivalent); Bachelor’s/Associate’s in Technical Theater preferred.
- Knowledge of sound, lights, rigging, and basic theatrical repairs.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong technical skills in entertainment technology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must pass a company-required medical evaluation.
Physical & Language Requirements:
- Must be able to participate in emergency life-saving procedures.
- Clear communication in English, both written and spoken.
