A leading supplier of commercial cleaning and chemical dosing solutions to the global cruise industry is looking to appoint an experienced Technical Service Director to lead its international service operation.
This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and lifecycle support of onboard chemical dosing and dispensing systems across cruise vessels worldwide.
Working closely with engineering, commercial, and operational teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining exceptional customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of onboard installations, upgrades, servicing, and planned maintenance for commercial chemical dosing and dispensing equipment.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, and technical specialists operating across international cruise projects.
- Plan engineering resources to support global vessel schedules, ensuring personnel, equipment, and spare parts are available when required.
- Take ownership of project delivery, budgets, commercial performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

- A strong understanding of commercial chemical dosing systems, dispensing equipment, industrial hygiene solutions, water treatment systems, or comparable engineered products.
- Commercially minded, with experience managing project budgets, engineering resources, and customer-facing technical operations.
- Comfortable working with international customers and supporting projects across Europe, North America, and other global regions.
- An engineering qualification is preferred, with formal project management experience or certification considered advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality technical service in demanding operational environments.
