The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading marine services provider based in Liverpool. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be joining an established maintenance team that provides effective maintenance of all the boats' equipment and systems and promotes the safe operation of all boats allocated to the Pilot Boat Service Contract.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintenance and repair of engineering, electrical and hull systems and equipment on Pilot Boats, Gig Boats, OSRV and the Survey Boat.
- Carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Duty Engineer, providing out of hours cover for the Pilot Boat Service.
- Maintain and retain engineering checklists and Planned Maintenance records, as directed by the Technical Manager.
- Promote safe working, compliance with regulations and conformance with the Company Management System.
- Promote and develop good working relationships with fellow colleagues, other group departments and third-party companies.
- Maintain inventory of Mechanical and Electrical spares.
Experience Required:
- Time served Marine Engineer/Plant Engineer, 3rd Engineer or equivalent.
- Electrical knowledge to support maintenance of onboard power systems.
- Qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (Desirable).
- Experience with small craft.
- Ability to establish departmental and third-party relationships in support of the Pilot Boat Service.
- Must have right to work in the UK.
