Crewing Manager (Yachts) – Permanent – Hampshire – Competitive package This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding Yacht Management company based in Hampshire. Looking for an experienced Crewing professional with experinece in yachting or shipping who can manage and lead a small team. Responsibilities Include : All aspects of crew management. Assisting with crew recruitment in collaboration with the yachts’ Captains and owners’ offices, including liaising with crew agencies, vetting potential candidates, obtaining references, and arranging and conducting interviews. Ensuring potential crew candidates have the required qualifications, certificates and experience for the rank. Completing all onboarding processes, including chasing outstanding documentation and assisting with visas, flights, etc. Preparing payroll and monitoring rotation / leave schedules of crew, working closely with an external payroll bureau. Managing and processing starters and leavers – preparing contracts of employment and termination paperwork. Experience Required: You should have at least three years’ experience in a crewing role (or similar) in the maritime industry Management experience (highly desirable) You must be well organised and results-driven. You must also be able to work to strict time constraints, and remain calm and composed under pressure. You must be able to communicate competently, understanding the needs of others and answering and queries efficiently. You must be IT literate and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience working in Yacht Management (Highly desirable) You must have the right to work in the UK to be considered.
