This is an excellent opportunity to join a global LNG ship owner & management company based in London. The Commercial Manager will liaise with the Deputy General Manager of the Commercial Division regarding commercial operations in relation to time charters, management agreements, and other relevant contracts, as well as business development activities in accordance with the Company’s business development objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Deputy General Manager (Commercial Division).
- Organize the activities of the commercial team.
- Supervise Commercial Associates’ activities in relation to time charters, management agreements, and other relevant contracts.
- Address daily business issues and resolve contractual and commercial problems.
- Communicate and negotiate with clients.
- Develop and build relationships with current and new customers.
- Gather market information by being in touch with LNG players, such as exporters, importers, trading firms, shipbrokers, shipyards, and others.
- Assess and develop new business opportunities in terms of ship management and ship owning activities in relation to the Company’s business development.
Experience Required:
- Must have experience in LNG commercial operations.
- Must have some management experience and strong leadership skills.
- Experience in business development and strong negotiation skills.
- Strong networking skills.
- Have a good understanding of the gas transportation chain.
You must have the right to work in the UK to be considered. You will receive a competitive salary and benefits package. The expectation is 3 days in the London office per week.
