We are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of our customer-facing projects. This role sits at the intersection of project management, programme management, professional services, and agile delivery — ensuring that cross-functional teams ship high-quality features on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. You will be the connective tissue between our customers and stakeholders across the business, driving predictable, high-quality delivery to ensure business revenue.

You will be central to the successful delivery of both simple projects and complex programmes. You will provide the governance, control, reporting, financial oversight and delivery assurance that give leaders the confidence to make sound decisions at pace.

Location: Remote with occasional travel to our offices which are located in Chippenham and Aberdeen.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the Professional Services ratio for the business from start to finish, ensuring revenue generating work is prioritised.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery process for all customer projects, from requirements intake through release and post-launch review.
  • Partner with the Service Delivery Manager and Technology Lead to translate product strategy and roadmaps into actionable delivery plans, sprints, and release schedules.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement) and continuously improve team delivery practices.
  • Identify, track, and proactively resolve risks, dependencies, and blockers across teams.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and coordinate with the Service Delivery Manager and Technology Lead on multi-team initiatives.
  • Define and report on delivery metrics to leadership.
  • Drive clear, consistent communication of delivery status, risks, and timelines to stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Champion continuous improvement of tools, processes, and ways of working across the delivery organization.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate governance controls.
  • Support resource planning and capacity management in partnership with engineering managers.
  • Ensure delivered work meets quality, compliance, and performance standards prior to release.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure billable opportunities are carried out and delivered against business and customer timelines.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Strong experience in project delivery, program management, project management, professional services, or a related role within a technology or software organization.
  • Proven experience working within a SaaS, software, or technology-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated line management experience, with responsibility for leading, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Proven experience leading agile/scrum teams and managing complex, cross-functional delivery timelines.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience using project/delivery tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Linear, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define, track, and act on delivery metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting business needs.
  • Clear understanding of business finances in a software and service environment.
  • Experience scaling delivery processes across multiple teams or a growing organization.
