Navion Senior Solutions, a leading provider of Assisted Living and Memory Care Services, is seeking an Executive Director in the Raleigh/Durham market of North Carolina. The Executive Director will be an influential manager with the ability to lead and motivate all members of the organization. The Executive Director will oversee all operations and be responsible for the financials of the community. They have great communication skills, the ability to create a growth-oriented workplace for our team members, and a love of our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure positive engagement of residents, family, friends, and team members by maintaining a positive, open-door atmosphere
  • Demonstrate effective communication, lead by example, ensure outstanding attention to detail in resident care and well being
  • Set standards for quality assurance and foster positive family relationships
  • Oversee all aspects of operations, including care delivery, food service, and facilities management, in order to meet or exceed Navion's high operational standards
  • Have direct responsibility for hiring, training, and supervising a top-notch team
  • Have direct responsibility for the financial management and regulatory compliance of our communities
  • Oversee the Sales and Marketing process, in order to meet or exceed occupancy and revenue targets

Qualifications

  • Holds an Assisted Living Administrator Certification.
  • Prior Executive Director or Administrator experience.
  • Previous management experience with direct supervision of a team of at least 10 -- including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, and disciplinary measures as necessary
  • Experience managing operating expenses of at least $1M annually preferred.
  • Previous sales or business development experience preferred--identifying and building local relationships to drive business as well as effective product pricing and revenue maximization
  • Experience facilitating small-group presentations preferred.
  • Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Associate's degree.
  • 1-2 years of experience in senior living.
  • Previous work experience with residents and families preferred.
  • Previous work experience with state surveyors or regulators preferred.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
