We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Lead – Pharma R&D to drive product strategy, development, and lifecycle management within our pharmaceutical research and development portfolio. The role will bridge scientific innovation, clinical development, regulatory requirements, and commercial objectives to deliver differentiated and compliant healthcare solutions.
The ideal candidate combines deep pharma R&D expertise with strong product leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities- Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy aligned with R&D and business objectives.
- Identify unmet medical needs and market opportunities through scientific, competitive, and market landscape analysis.
- Translate R&D pipeline assets into structured product development plans.
- Work closely with Clinical Development, Preclinical Research, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs teams.
- Guide product requirements across discovery, IND, clinical phases, and lifecycle management.
- Support evidence-generation strategies and clinical positioning.
- Lead product planning from early-stage development through commercialization support.
- Develop target product profiles (TPP) and value propositions.
- Manage milestone planning, go/no-go decisions, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Partner with Commercial, Market Access, Pharmacovigilance, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
- Drive alignment between scientific, regulatory, and commercial priorities.
- Leverage clinical data, real-world evidence, and market analytics to guide decisions.
- Monitor competitor pipelines and evolving therapeutic landscapes.
- Define KPIs for product performance and R&D productivity.
- Present product strategies to executive leadership.
- Collaborate with external partners, CROs, academic institutions, and biotech collaborators.
- Engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and advisory boards.
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field (PhD/MD preferred; MBA a plus).
- 10–15 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D, product management, or clinical strategy.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, EMA, ICH).
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership experience.
