About the Role

We're looking for an organised and proactive

Accounts Receivable & Finance Executive to become the first dedicated Accounts Receivable hire within our growing finance team.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of the complete invoicing process—from

Monday. com through to Xero —ensuring invoices are accurate, payments are collected promptly, and client relationships remain strong.

This is far more than a traditional finance administration role.

You'll become the finance team's primary point of contact for clients and data partners while supporting month‑end reporting, VAT compliance, financial controls and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable & Credit Control
  • Manage the end‑to‑end invoicing process from Monday. com through to Xero.
  • Ensure invoices are accurate, timely and fully supported by appropriate documentation.
  • Take ownership of the Accounts Receivable ledger and proactively manage collections.
  • Build positive relationships while reducing debtor days and protecting cash flow.
  • Client Relationships
  • Act as the finance team's professional point of contact for clients and data partners.
  • Resolve billing queries efficiently and professionally.
  • Support month‑end close activities, including journals, accruals and prepayments.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Support UK VAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRC Making Tax Digital requirements.
  • Assist with multi‑currency reconciliations across the Group using Xero and Airwallex.
  • Process Improvement
  • Help strengthen financial controls across the UK, US and Singapore entities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve invoicing, billing and finance processes.
  • Support finance projects as the business continues to scale.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-3+ years' experience within Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or a similar finance role.
  • Experience managing the full invoicing and credit control cycle.
  • Studying towards (or qualified in) AAT, ACCA, CIMA, Bachelor of Commerce or qualified by experience.
  • Strong understanding of UK VAT and MTD compliance.
  • Experience supporting month‑end finance processes.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including formulas, lookups and pivot tables.
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys working directly with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in Saa S, technology or ad‑tech businesses.
  • Previous experience within a high‑growth scale‑up.
  • Multi‑entity or international finance experience.
  • Experience with Airwallex and multi‑currency reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition.
  • Interest in AI and finance automation tools.
