Role

We arecurrently looking fora Business Development Lead– Marine Fuel Saa Sto join the ENGINEteam.

You willbe responsible forbuilding outand owning the commercial strategy and growing the platform’s customer base.

ENGINE is a market intelligence and bunker procurement Saa S platform built for buyers of marine fuel.

It is a digital offering developed by the Navig8 Group, which is one of the world’s largest tanker operators, that has been bolstered further by the 80% acquisition by ADNOC L&S.

With an entrepreneurial spirit at our core, we continue to expand our existing commercial shipping, fuel trading, and technology businesses.

The Group has evolved with a unique culture in which our common goal is to deliver, optimise, and adapt whilst maintaining a fun, social, and energetic working space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own outbound and new-business development across shipowners, operators, charterers, bunkerbuyersand trading houses.
  • Leverage your existing relationships in the shipping/marine fuel industry, alongside the group’sestablished relationships, to open conversations and generate qualified pipeline.
  • Meet prospects in person and virtually — conferences, site visits, industry events.
  • Handle objections and competitive positioning conversations with real command of the market landscape.
  • Work closely with the Head of Product and the Marketing team to shape go-to-marketmessaging and prioritize features based on whatyou'rehearing in the field.
  • Manage the full sales cycle.
  • Drive measurable growth in new-logo customers and revenue.
  • Prior experience selling into shipping/maritime or a related B2B Saa S environment.
  • Solid understandingorbackground of the shipping industry, ideally marine fuels/bunkeringwith an existing network.
  • Proactive and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Excellent customer service, communicationand relationship building skills.
  • Comfortabletravellingto meet existing and prospective customers face to face.
