*Technical Engineer*
*Salary:* £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) + £150 for Saturday rota
*Contract:* Full‐time, permanent, PAYE
*Hours:* Monday–Friday, plus paid Saturday technical‐support rota
*Package:* Company van, tablet, mobile, 22 days' holiday (+ bank holidays), pension, bonus, private health (after qualifying period)
*The role*
Provide on‐site fault‐finding and breakdown support for the manufacturer's domestic boilers and hot‐water products across the South‐East. You'll also handle phone‐line support on a rota and assist the sales team with occasional installer events and training sessions.
*Key duties*
- Diagnose and repair boiler faults at customer premises.
- Cover the technical helpline (weekday and Saturday rota).
- Support sales activities: installer visits, trade mornings/evenings, demos.
- Monitor and mentor local service agents, ensuring standards and stock levels.
- Deliver product training to installers and agents (presentations & live demos).
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and cost‐effectively.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to the wider technical team.
*What we're looking for*
- Proven boiler fault‐finding/breakdown experience (ideally 5+ years).
- Current ACS Core & Boiler tickets (CCN1, CENWAT).
- Oil, Gas qualifications – essential.
- Full UK driving licence and residence within the region.
- Strong customer skills, good IT knowledge, self‐motivation.
- Desirable: Air‐source heat‐pump or F‐Gas Cat 1 certification.
