The Corporate IT Operations Manager oversees the health, security, and lifecycle of our identity platforms, physical assets, and core operational services. While you will manage a team of specialists responsible for day-to-day execution, you serve as the primary technical architect and owner of our IT operational strategy.
Technical Leadership & Design
- Architectural Ownership: Design and maintain the global configuration for Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Intune, ensuring scalable and secure identity and device management.
- Security Framework: Define Conditional Access policies and authentication standards that the team will implement and enforce.
- Process Engineering: Design the "Joiner/Mover/Leaver" automation workflows, delegating the execution to the team while ensuring 100% process integrity.
- Standardization: Establish the "Gold Standard" for endpoint provisioning (Autopilot/MDM) and hardware configurations.
Team Management & Mentorship
- Direct Supervision: Lead a team of IT specialists and administrators, providing clear objectives, performance feedback, and technical guidance.
- Workload Orchestration: Manage the team's ticket queues and project timelines, ensuring high-quality service delivery and rapid incident resolution.
- Skill Development: Mentor staff to increase their technical proficiency in Entra ID, Intune, and automation scripting.
Operational & Asset Strategy
- Lifecycle Governance: Own the strategy for procurement, deployment, and refresh cycles for all physical IT assets.
- Audit & Compliance: Partner with Finance and Security to ensure inventory is 100% accurate and that access reviews are completed on schedule.
- Vendor Stewardship: Manage high-level relationships with hardware and software vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring SLA compliance.
Escalated Execution
- Tier 3 Support: Act as the final point of escalation for critical or complex identity/access issues that the team cannot resolve.
- Change Management: Personally oversee and approve high-impact configuration changes to the production environment.
