Responsibilities

  • Delivering civil and structural design across water and wastewater projects.
  • Producing and reviewing civil and structural designs, calculations, specifications, and drawings.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Civil Structural Design Engineer or Civil / Structural Engineer within the UK water sector.
  • Strong technical background in civil and structural design for water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Experience working within AMP frameworks or with major UK water utilities.
  • Excellent understanding of UK design standards, Eurocodes, and engineering methodologies.
  • Ability to manage technical design and influence engineering decisions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Ideally Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership.
  • Professional membership (e.g. ICE or IStructE) preferred.
