Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Project Manager
- Full responsibility for day-to-day site operations across water metering and minor civils projects
- Overseeing method statements, risk assessments, quality plans and safety documentation
- Leading, supervising and coordinating operatives and subcontractors
- Ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards
- Planning and organising labour, materials, and resources to meet programme targets
- Engaging with clients, engineers, planners, and commercial teams
- Ensuring high-quality installation of new meters, pressure valves, and bulk meters
- Conducting site audits, safety inspections, inductions and toolbox talks
- Managing site reporting, progress updates, and project documentation
Experience Required:
- Valid SSSTS or SMSTS (SMSTS preferred for Site Manager level)
- Experience working for Tier 1 contractors, CLC environments, or water metering companies
- Strong understanding of water meter installation works (highly desirable)
- SHEA Water / Water Hygiene certification (highly desirable)
- Proven background managing utilities, civils, or metering works on multi-site operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence (required)
