Systems Engineer – Safety Cases Develop major safety cases, including authoring, verifying, and managing engineering change documentation. Conduct specialist hazard reviews, such as seismic assessments, and support probabilistic safety assessments (PSA). Produce formal technical reports, safety cases, and project deliverables on time and within budget. Implement plant modifications, including obsolescence assessments, authoring equipment specifications, reviewing design proposals, and creating design substantiation reports. Develop testing, commissioning strategies, and functional test procedures. Support plant operability by monitoring conditions, identifying faults, and conducting reliability reviews (including plant walk-downs) and maintenance strategy assessments. Manage projects by responding to client requests, accurately costing tasks, ensuring resource allocation, and delivering projects within budget. Stay updated on relevant standards, methods, data, and software usage.
