What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for tenders and ECI projects
  • Working with the Bid Manager and wider bid team to develop pricing strategies
  • Pricing labour, plant, materials, subcontractors, temporary works and preliminaries
  • Assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations and advising on best value options
  • Contributing to risk and opportunity assessments
  • Supporting tender submissions, settlements and project handovers.

What you'll need:

  • Sound knowledge of civil engineering and construction techniques
  • Knowledge of relevant procurement legislation
  • Commercial awareness of different forms of contract
  • Sound knowledge of the HOCHTIEF governance and procedural requirements for work winning
  • Detailed knowledge of estimating software package.
