Responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager Position:
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery across multiple data centre construction programmes.
- Lead pre-contract activities, maintain accurate project records, and ensure all site documentation and inductions are completed.
- Review and communicate design details, monitor progress against key milestones, and identify specialist requirements.
- Coordinate project meetings, share updates, and ensure actions are completed to keep delivery on track.
- Maintain and update health & safety documentation, monitor on-site compliance, and support welfare and training standards.
- Develop project programmes, manage resources, and resolve progress issues proactively.
- Monitor budgets, variations, and margins while supporting pricing and tenders for new opportunities.
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, validate methods of work, and ensure alignment with programme timelines.
- Lead inspections, manage project handovers, and ensure all certifications, O&M manuals, and documentation are delivered.
About You:
- Proven site or project management experience (3+ years), ideally within data centres or complex building environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging at all levels internally and externally.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Technical understanding of construction activities from bidding through execution.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to work closely with senior teams and external stakeholders.
- M&E qualification or background.
- Strong awareness of CDM regulations.
- Project management qualification (desirable).
