Site Health & Safety Advisor
Location: Site Based / Doncaster
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Negotiable dependant on level of experience plus car allowance and package

A successful rail infrastructure contractor specialising in track installation & signalling is looking to recruit a HSQE Advisor to support their busy team and actively ensure high standards of HSEQ are attained

Essential Requirements for the HSEQ Advisor
- Proven site based health and safety advisory experience in the rail sector
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- PTS
- Internal Auditor
- Knowledge of accident investigations and reporting procedures
- Knowledge of CDM, ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001
- Ability to adapt ideas and approaches to suit changing priorities or solutions
- Well organised, diplomatic, proactive, assertive and well-disciplined
Preferred Requirements for the HSEQ Advisor
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level H&S qualification
- CMIOSH
- Lead Auditor
- IEMA/CQI membership
- CSCS
Main Duties for the HSEQ Advisor
- Provide HSEQ support to Rail Sector projects
- Assist in the development of HSEQ related documentation including CPP, WPP, TBS, RAMS
- Delivering reports on safety, quality and environmental performance to the Head of HSEQ
- Promoting the awareness of HSEQ issues and activities across the projects
- Receive, review and disseminate HSEQ information
- Organisation of investigations into incidents and accidents, reporting of conclusions and implement
corrective actions as necessary
- Maintain liaison with Trackwork Clients, Network Rail, Enforcement Agencies and Third Parties on HSEQ
issues
- Support the Head of HSEQ in developing HSEQ Strategies and maintaining third party accreditations
- Take stewardship of the internal and external audit program and support area offices in respect to third
party HSEQ audits
