A well established, privately owned civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to the award of a new water framework, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Agent on a permanent basis to support the delivery of key water and wastewater schemes across Lancashire and Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a robust order book, long term framework work, and a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and self delivery.
As Site Agent, you will take day to day responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of water and wastewater projects, working closely with the Project Manager and engineering teams on site.
- Day to day site management and supervision of works
- Setting out for complex civil engineering elements including tunnels, tanks, and associated structures
- Managing site teams, subcontractors, and plant
- Coordinating temporary works, permits, and RAMS
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance
- Supporting planning, progress reporting, and site documentation
Minimum 3 years' experience in water / wastewater projects
- Proven experience working on tunnelling works and complex civil engineering structures
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- CSCS and SMSTS certification
- 27 days annual leave
