Opportunity
A residential construction business is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the East Midlands team, working on mixed tenure and contracting schemes within the region. The role will be site based, with occasional travel to the regional office in Derby.
Working within a busy Quantity Surveying department, you will ensure effective cash management and careful administration of subcontractor accounts. Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the financial cost control and reporting of one or more developments from the award up to and including completion of client and sub-contract final accounts, recovery / discharge of all retentions and completion of archive material. As a senior member of the team, you will supervise and train Assistant and Trainee Surveyors, setting targets and allocating duties whilst maintaining quality.

Key Requirements for the ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry
