A specialist ecology consultancy provider, operating UK wide with specialisms in ecology, arboriculture, landscape, archaeology and contracting, are seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to join their growing team, based at either Radbourne near Derby or Milton Keynes.
As a Senior Landscape Architect you will work across all RIBA stages on a wide range of projects, supporting the delivery of high-quality landscape design from early concept through to planning, technical design and construction. The role will involve contributing to design development, preparation of planning submissions, and production of detailed technical information, working closely with senior colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team.
You will assist in shaping landscape-led design solutions that respond to site context, planning policy and client objectives, while maintaining strong technical and environmental standards. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, including residential-led developments, public realm, infrastructure and green infrastructure schemes. The role offers exposure to both creative and technical aspects of landscape architecture, with increasing responsibility as experience grows. This position is well suited to a motivated Landscape Architect looking to develop their skills, progress towards chartership, and take greater ownership of projects within a supportive and collaborative studio environment.
Key responsibilities- Preparation of concept and detailed landscape designs
- Production of drawings, visuals and technical information
- Assisting with LVIA and planning support work
- Preparation of planting plans, specifications and schedules
- Coordination with architects, engineers and planners
- Site visits and construction support
- Degree or Masters in Landscape Architecture
- 2-5 years' professional experience (flexible)
- Working knowledge of UK planning and delivery stages
- AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite essential
- Progress towards CMLI preferred but not essential
- Full, clean manual driving license
