About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Highways Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of highway schemes. You’ll manage everything from on-site safety to stakeholder communication, ensuring every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to spec.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead highway projects from conception to completion
  • Oversee site safety, documentation, and compliance
  • Manage resources: labour, plant, materials & subcontractors
  • Track progress and performance against timelines and budgets
  • Coach and support site teams, including new starters
  • Liaise professionally with road users and residents

What We’re Looking For in a Project Manager

  • HND / HNC in Civil Engineering or similar
  • CSCS Gold Card & SSSTS / SMSTS essential
  • Experience with highways
  • Deep drainage experience
  • Strong grasp of H&S regulations and engineering principles
  • Confident with MS Project and project scheduling
  • Full, clean driving licence
