About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled Highways Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of highway schemes. You’ll manage everything from on-site safety to stakeholder communication, ensuring every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to spec.
What You’ll Do
- Lead highway projects from conception to completion
- Oversee site safety, documentation, and compliance
- Manage resources: labour, plant, materials & subcontractors
- Track progress and performance against timelines and budgets
- Coach and support site teams, including new starters
- Liaise professionally with road users and residents
What We’re Looking For in a Project Manager
- HND / HNC in Civil Engineering or similar
- CSCS Gold Card & SSSTS / SMSTS essential
- Experience with highways
- Deep drainage experience
- Strong grasp of H&S regulations and engineering principles
- Confident with MS Project and project scheduling
- Full, clean driving licence
