About the Role
The Sub Agent will work in a project environment, coordinating construction activities and closely collaborating with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, client representatives, and designers. The Sub Agent will lead the construction team in the assigned area of responsibility, overseeing the execution of work in accordance with project requirements, schedule, and commercial needs. The role will involve managing subcontractors, coordinating with other areas of the project, monitoring progress and resources, and managing junior team members. You will also be responsible for ensuring the required documentation, temporary works, quality records, and project controls are in place before and during the execution of construction works.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the construction team in the assigned area
- Managing work in accordance with project requirements, schedule, and commercial needs
- Coordinating activities with other areas of the project
- Managing and supporting junior staff
- Reviewing equipment, labour, and material usage against planned needs
- Identifying resource deviations and developing action plans
- Managing subcontractors and leading regular meetings with subcontractors

- Assessing payment applications and changes from subcontractors in collaboration with the commercial team

- Developing recovery plans in case of schedule delays
- Preparing schedule updates and forecasts for reporting periods

- Monitoring temporary works during execution and dismantling
- Reviewing and approving relevant quality documentation
