Senior H&S CDM Consultant required for a leading consultancy. Our client is a well-established consultancy providing project, programme and health & safety services across major infrastructure and construction projects in the UK. They are currently seeking a Senior H&S CDM Consultant to join their team, based in Oxford with hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home). This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team environment and play a key role in delivering high-quality CDM and health & safety consultancy services across a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the South of England, East Anglia and the Midlands.
Experience Required:
- Strong background in the delivery of CDM services with an excellent understanding of CDM 2015 regulations
- Solid technical Health & Safety knowledge, ideally within the construction industry
- Proven experience of H&S audits, inspections, and training delivery
- Ability to advise designers and clients on CDM and H&S best practice
- Experience of ISO45001, behavioural safety, and H&S management systems
- Chartered status (or working towards) with a recognised H&S, design or construction body
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate and valid CSCS card (essential)
- Experience on projects valued £5m+ desirable
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Full UK driving licence
Duties include:
- Advising and assisting clients in fulfilling their duties under CDM 2015
- Supporting and guiding designers in carrying out H&S design reviews
- Delivering a wide range of CDM Consultant and H&S services, including audits, inspections and accident investigations
- Preparing and reviewing risk assessments, method statements and H&S policies
- Providing and delivering CDM and H&S training sessions
- Monitoring legislative changes and ensuring compliance with current best practice
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients
- Working collaboratively with offices and project teams across the South and Midlands
Package & Benefits:
- Salary: £55,000 – £62,000 depending on experience
