Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the full operational lifecycle, mapping, analysing, and improving workflows to ensure output, accuracy, and cost effectiveness.
- Implement and refine practical, scalable business processes and supporting systems aligned with ISO9001 standards.
- Lead cross functional projects from concept through to completion, creating detailed project plans, tracking milestones, managing risks, and delivering outcomes on time.
- Handle tenders, NDAs, contracts, and other legal documentation.
- Oversee health & safety and ensure full compliance across departments.
- Lead and develop teams, supporting performance and growth.
- Provide HR support (when required) including employee contracts and policies.
- Spot inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or risks, and implement tools, systems, or processes to strengthen operations.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in Operations Management, ideally across multiple departments.
- Experience working in the telecommunications sector desirable.
- Strong project management skills, including creating frameworks, monitoring progress, and managing complex deliverables.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 (ISO27001 desirable but not required).
- Experience with tenders, contracts, and legal documentation.
- Analytical and structured, with the ability to turn strategy into actionable steps.
- Strong leadership, organisation, and time management skills.
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Location & Package Details:
- Office located in Preston, this role requires office presence 5 days a week.
- Up to Β£60,000 p/a + benefits package.
