Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQPs), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, method statements, and applicable standards (ISO 9001, local codes, etc.).
- Conduct site inspections and audits for MEP and CSA works.
- Coordinate inspections and tests with contractors, vendors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
- Monitor installation and workmanship quality throughout construction and commissioning phases.
- Manage NCRs, corrective actions, and preventive actions to closure.
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) where required.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and handover documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular quality status reports.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer on Data Centre or other mission-critical projects.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and data centre standards.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficient in QA/QC documentation and reporting tools.
Desirable
- Experience with Tier III / Tier IV data centre projects.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ASHRAE, IEC, IEEE, NFPA.
- Previous experience working with international contractors or hyperscale clients.
