Mechanical / Electrical Design Engineers – Data Centre Projects (Contract)
Location: UK (London-based hybrid), France & Italy
Contract: LTD Company | 6–9 months (with strong extension potential)

We are partnering with a leading Data Centre delivery specialist to secure four Senior Mechanical/Electrical Design Engineers for major new-build and live Data Centre projects across the UK, France, and Italy. These roles sit at the heart of high-spec technical design, giving you hands-on exposure across full RIBA stages in a fast-growing, AI-driven environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering end-to-end Data Centre facility design, working across multiple RIBA stages.
- Producing and reviewing design packages using AutoCAD or Revit.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary MEP teams to drive design quality and technical excellence.
- Contributing to AI-focused design workflows — full training provided, no prior AI experience needed.
- Supporting both new-build and live Data Centre upgrade projects.
- Working hybrid in London (UK roles): 3 days in office, 2 days onsite.
What you’ll need:
- Background in Mechanical or Electrical design engineering within MEP, mission-critical, Data Centre, or similar environments.
- Ability to confidently deliver and interpret E2E facility designs.
- Strong experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Availability for an immediate start.
- For UK-based positions: commutable to London.
