Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all vegetation clearance and lineside de-veg works across multiple rail sites.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee site teams, subcontractors, and specialist operatives.
- Ensure all works comply with Network Rail standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Produce work package plans, task briefs, risk assessments, and daily site reports.
- Liaise with project managers, ecological consultants, and possession planners to ensure efficient delivery.
- Manage access arrangements, materials, plant, and site logistics.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager, Site Manager, or Supervisor on rail de-vegetation or lineside environments.
- Strong understanding of NR/L2/OHS standards and rail safety requirements.
- PTS (Personal Track Safety) - essential.
- Relevant de-veg and/or arb qualifications (e.g., LANTRA, NPTC, UA tickets) highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple work sites and deliver under possessions/isolations.
