Estimator in Hessle

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed viability assessments and cost breakdowns for new housing developments.

Evaluate all financial aspects of land acquisition, including purchase price, site preparation, environmental factors, and ground conditions.

Conduct site visits to identify potential constraints and inform pricing strategies.

Collaborate with Land, Technical, and Commercial teams to develop cost-efficient and innovative solutions.

Support senior leadership in Gateway submissions and Regional Land Reports.

Maintain accurate and current cost data to ensure estimates reflect market trends.

Deliver clear, insightful recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

About You

Experienced in land viabilities, appraisals, or cost estimating within the residential housebuilding sector.

Proficient with digital estimating systems (e.g. Bluebeam or similar).

COINS experience beneficial but not essential.

Sound understanding of ground conditions, remediation, foundations, and drainage.

Strong financial and analytical mindset, with a keen eye for detail.

Confident communicator who can collaborate effectively across departments.
