A leading infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to support with the delivery of a major £350 Million high profile tunnelling project in North Wales. The team in Wales led by the Director are looking for an experienced H&S specialist with a Civil Engineering background to lead, manage and coordinate all aspects of health and safety on sites whilst driving continual improvement and ensuring the wellbeing of the site delivery team.

You will manage a small team but also have responsibility for overseeing several sites, carry out inspections and audits and be responsible for overall safety on live sites.

Seeking candidates with:

  • BSc or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or relevant
  • Previous experience on major infrastructure projects and ideally tunnel projects is required
  • Tier 1 experience (beneficial)
  • Health & Safety knowledge
  • CSCS/NEBOSH/IOSH Certificates
  • Experience of Risk Assessments
  • Highways/Civil Engineering Experience
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • CMIOSH (Desired)

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 plus package including; car/car allowance, 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, travel paid & accommodation on site (paid where required).
