Summary
A leading UK environmental group providing consultancy, services and solutions aimed at protecting the Eart have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join their Manchester Ecology team. This role is pivotal to influencing and motivating the team to achieve organisational excellence.
You’ll be the clear bridge between team members and management, accountable for the efficient, qualitative and successful delivery of a vast range of multi-disciplinary projects, working closely with and providing value to a number of our long-term, highly respected clients.
You’ll be committed to building results through a high performing team and invested in nurturing the performance and development of talent.
You’ll promote and foster inclusivity to ensure the best outcomes for the business and its customers.
You’ll be responsible for delivering project work as well as growing your team sharing knowledge, insight and skills to support in personal development.
What we are looking for:
- A talented ecologist who can confidently adapt their leadership and project management skills to develop client relationships and meet specific project requirements
- An experienced people manager with an ability to inspire teams
- Ideally, you’ll have previous experience of adhering to the CIEEM COPC and a proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects across a variety of sectors
- Previous experience in business development, bids and strategies, adding value and impact to how we operate.
- An undergraduate degree and preferably a post-graduate qualification in a relevant subject, demonstrate the ability to work proactively and flexible in support of changing workloads as well as organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Full membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (CIEEM) (Desirable)
- One or more survey licences (desirable)
