One of the UK's leading and fastest growing specialist tunnelling contractors, delivering complex micro tunnelling, pipe jacking, shaft construction and trenchless engineering projects across the water, energy, rail and infrastructure sectors are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join their senior management team in Doncaster.
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects from contract award through to completion, driving operational excellence, programme performance, commercial success and consistently high standards across every contract.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of multiple projects.
- Drive programme performance, quality and operational excellence.
- Manage client relationships and work collaboratively with key stakeholders.
- Support and mentor Project Managers and site teams.
- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
About You
- Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within civil engineering, tunnelling or utilities.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Commercially aware with experience working under NEC contracts (desirable).
- Passionate about developing people, improving performance and delivering outstanding project outcomes.
