We are supporting a leading Tier 1 main contractor in their search for an experienced Design Manager or Senior Design Manager to join their East Midlands team. This role will focus on complex, technical build projects, with a strong emphasis on MoJ / MoD / secure-sector experience.
The Role:
- Lead and manage the design process from pre-con to handover
- Coordinate design teams, consultants and specialist subcontractors
- Ensure compliance, buildability and design quality across all stages
- Identify design risks and drive effective solutions
- Work closely with project and commercial teams on high-value, secure projects
About You:
- Proven experience as a DM or Senior DM within major construction projects
- Background working on secure, MoJ or MoD schemes
- Strong technical understanding and excellent coordination skills
- Confident communicator able to lead design strategy on complex builds

- Salary up to £80,000, depending on experience
