I have an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Design Manager or experienced Assistant Design Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering major MOJ projects currently in PCSA stage.
Salary on offer is up to 65,000 plus car allowance and competitive package.
This role would suit either an established Design Manager or a strong Assistant Design Manager ready to step up and take ownership of their own scheme.
The team is looking for someone who can hit the ground running and confidently manage the design process through pre construction and delivery.
Previous MOJ experience is highly desirable, although candidates with MOD, education, or other complex public sector project backgrounds will also be considered.
Managing and coordinating the design process from cradle to grave Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, and operational teams Reviewing technical information and driving design programmes Supporting pre-construction activities and project delivery Ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements Projects are national, with travel to site expected 1–2 days per week where required.
Flexible working arrangements are offered, including one day working from home.
