Lead, support and mentor planners within the planning function. Review drawings and develop accurate material take-offs to inform activity durations. Assess subcontractor programmes and integrate them into the master schedule. Produce programme updates, progress narratives and performance dashboards. Collaborate with pre-construction, engineering, commercial and operational teams. Translate construction methodology into detailed, logical programme activities. Prepare look-aheads and support collaborative planning workshops. Identify programme risks and communicate mitigation strategies. Support change management, including CE programmes and NEC entitlement.
Experience Required
- HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction.
- Demonstrable planning experience with a main contractor.
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Understanding of NEC contract planning and change management processes.
- Background in civil engineering or rail construction delivery.
- Experience of planning structural, civil or rail infrastructure projects.
- Ability to produce visual dashboards, ideally using Power BI.
