Senior Bid Writer A leading civils infrastructure contractor working across the highways, rail, structures, tunnelling, marine and energy sectors is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Bid Writer to join their team in Swindon / Paddington, London.As a key member of the Work Winning Team the primary function of the Bid Writer will be to contribute to the development and production of high-quality written responses to pre-qualifications and bids. unique responses, references, case studies, CVs (in liaison with Bid Coordinators) and project experience.- Ensure all tender documentation is presented to a uniformly high standard, editing and proofreading submission documents, as well as (when required) coordinating and supporting in the production and finalisation of documents.- Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant.Senior Bid Writer Specification- Previous writing experience- Degree educated in a relevant subject- Demonstrable high level of competence in written English - Creative approach to producing submissions for demanding clients- Proof reading and formatting experience.- The ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams- Advanced MS Word skills & proficient in MS Office- Previous experience in proposal writing- Technical knowledge of civil engineering and the built environment- Demonstrable experience in planning and producing successful quality/submission documents.- Previous experience of working within the bidding process- Experience of working with appropriate software packages e.g. Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite.Salary: 50,000 - 55,000 plus packageTo learn more about this Senior Bid Writer opportunity get in touch nowNavartis are an equality and diversity recruitment agent and employer.Permanent
