Summary
A successful engineering consultancy renowned for delivering complex and innovative design solutions to the global construction industry are looking for a CAD Technician to join their multi-disciplinary team based in St Albans.
As a CAD Technician, you will support the teams to deliver a variety of exciting and interesting projects. We work across multiple sectors, using our design expertise to find innovative solutions for our clients.
The teams of engineers and technicians develop the solutions together; as a Level 3 Technician you will build on your knowledge to become a skilled member of the team, producing quality drawings and models using a variety of software including AutoCAD & Microstation.
– Typically 4 or more years experience
– Use of CAD Software – Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation
– Ability to produce accurate and appropriate engineering drawings and models in an efficient and effective manner
– Good communication skills
– Minimum HNC or equivalent in a relevant technical subject
– Use of any of the following Open Buildings Designer, Revit or Civil 3D
– ProjectWise or other Common Data Environments
– EngTech or professional recognition with another institution.
