Overview
In this role you will lead cradle-to-grave MEP delivery for a portfolio of complex, government- and public sector projects. You will coordinate across design, installation, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, quality and on-program delivery. Based in the East Midlands with UK travel, you’ll work with cross-functional teams to support a diverse and technically challenging portfolio. Responsibilities
- Manage MEP delivery from design development through to commissioning and handover
- Review and challenge consultant and subcontractor designs
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and public health services across multiple projects
- Drive programme, quality, compliance, and technical standards
- Manage subcontractor performance and site activities
- Attend design, progress, and client meetings
- Support commissioning strategies and ensure successful project completion
- Work closely with project delivery teams, commercial teams, consultants, and end clients
Key requirements
- Previous experience as a Building Services Manager, MEP Manager, or equivalent
- Cradle-to-grave project delivery experience including design and installation
- Mechanical or Electrical bias considered
- Strong knowledge across both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines
- Experience with a main contractor, Tier 1 contractor, or major project environment
- Background delivering projects within defence, custodial, government, healthcare, or other highly regulated sectors would be advantageous
