A privately-owned, award-winning infrastructure company and tier one contractor has an exciting opportunity in Scotland to join them as a HSQE Advisor. Offices are based in Blantyre or Perth but the role offers flexible working with home based / site travel to project sites.
As a HSQE Advisor you will provide assurance, guidance and support ensuring the safe operation of sites, to comply with all Health and Safety regulatory and legislative requirements.
You will:
- Support the HSQE Lead to create a culture that promotes Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Safety in the workplace.
- Monitor and accurately report on HSQE compliance.
- Conduct accident investigations ensuring problems are appropriately addressed and rectified.
Seeking someone with:
- A minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role on Construction, Civils or Rail projects.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or General Certificate.
- Experience in accident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Excellent IT and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work on one's own initiative.
- Forward thinking with ability to predict future risk profile based on work pipeline.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to deliver educational tools / training and development initiatives.
Training and development will be provided for candidates looking to push their career to the next level.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 negotiable dependant on experience plus package including pension, health cash plan and car/allowance.
