Responsibilities of the Technical Coordinator:
- Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications.
- Prepare and manage Building Regulations approvals.
- Review and approve third-party technical drawings, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate and manage section agreements (S38, S104, S278).
- Conduct technical reviews of architectural and engineering drawings.
- Provide support in resolving site-specific technical issues.
- Liaise with local planning authorities, utility providers and external consultants.
- Ensure compliance with NHBC and Building Regulations.
- Support the land and planning team in feasibility assessments for new developments.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience as a Technical Coordinator, Assistant Technical Coordinator, Architectural Technician, Engineer or similar within residential development.
- Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, planning procedures and section agreements.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and technical drawing review. (Preferred)
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with consultants, contractors and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
