The Contracts Manager Role: A respected new-build housing developer in Shropshire is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of 3–4 live housing sites across the region. This is a key role within the construction team, ensuring that schemes are delivered to programme, budget and quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with site teams and subcontractors.

The successful candidate will take ownership of multiple developments, supporting Site Managers, driving performance, resolving issues on site and ensuring compliance with health and safety and company procedures.

To Be Considered for the Contracts Manager Position:

  • Experience working as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager within new-build housing
  • Strong understanding of construction programmes, budgets and contract management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to support, guide and motivate site teams
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Solid knowledge of health and safety requirements and construction best practice
  • Relevant qualifications (Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent) are advantageous
  • CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications are desirable
  • Experience working on volume housing developments is beneficial
