Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering / Remediation Location: Cardiff, Reading or Warrington Salary: Competitive (DoE) + Excellent Benefits Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects nationwide, a leading contractor within the civil engineering and remediation sector is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with experience in civil engineering, remediation, enabling works, or brownfield development projects to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK. While the role can be based from Cardiff, Reading, or Warrington, occasional travel to live project sites will be required. The Role As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of projects from tender stage through to final account, ensuring cost control, risk management, and commercial performance are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Commercial Management: Manage projects from tender award through to final account settlement. Prepare and maintain budgets, cost plans, forecasts, and financial reports. Monitor project performance and provide regular commercial updates. Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities. Attend commercial and project progress meetings.
